In 1978 Heaven Was Blue the LP was recorded by Rick Saucedo.  This was a product of Rick's earliest music writing.  At this time Rick's "Elvis" career had taken off and had him traveling frequently.  During his time on the road he began to write music.

The result was a psychedelic compilation of songs not completely understood by the "Elvis" crowd.  The unique music, advanced for it's time was not to be fully appreciated until much later.

This album is now a "cult classic" and has been sought after by many music collectors.  Fans of this album have taken this music seriously, studying it piece by piece.  Reviews have dissected each song, each critic determined to analyze its every detail.  With the album being out of print bootleg copies have surfaced on the internet under different labels being sold world-wide.

Being on the road Rick was unable to supervise the finished product.  Unaware that songs were being cut out as well as the artwork lacking the true depth of the original painting he was never fully satisfied with it.

Rick was determined to reissue Heaven Was Blue as it was meant to be.  After many hours of studio work and backing the original tapes the music quality has been restored.  The songs that were deleted have been put back in as well as additional inside photos and enhanced cover artwork.  The result is a digital masterpiece of music that can be enjoyed by psychedelic fans already familiar with the album as well as fans being introduced to Rick Saucedo the music writer for the first time.
